Challenges of “wisdom of the crowds”

It reminded me of a show I saw recently on the challenges and failures of computer match-making.  I’m increasingly getting the feeling that computer scientists over-estimate the ability of programs to understand complicated things eg whether it is possible to have a national decline in house prices. 

TrustedOnes was created to create a community of your friends and family to provide recommendations, not a computer program.  We hope this will provide a much better source of new and helpful recommendations.
